Stars for Life provides Day Program Services specifically designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Our staff are trained in autism-specific strategies and supports, and our programs are structured around the unique needs, strengths, and goals of autistic individuals. To help ensure the best outcomes for everyone involved, we would like to outline the following parameters:
Autism must be the primary diagnosis.
Clients must be able to physically attend our Day Program at the Stars for Life facility.
If an individual has mental health concerns, addiction, or complex medical needs that significantly impact their ability to participate in or benefit from autism-specific supports, we respectfully require that the appropriate medical, counseling, or mental health supports be in place prior to enrollment.
Please note that our staff are not medically trained or certified mental health professionals. Our expertise lies in autism-focused programming and supports.

At Stars for Life, we strive to provide every new participant with the time, attention, and support needed to make a successful transition into our programs. For this reason, we typically welcome new participants during the spring and fall intake periods whenever possible.
These times of year allow our team to provide a more structured onboarding experience, establish meaningful relationships, and ensure participants become comfortable with their new environment, routines, and peers. While we understand that every situation is unique, summer can be a particularly challenging time for transitions due to staffing schedules, community outings, vacations, and seasonal programming activities.
By planning admissions around our primary intake periods, we can better support participants and their families and create the strongest foundation for long-term success within our programs.
If you are considering our services, we encourage you to contact us early to discuss upcoming intake opportunities and begin the application process.

Not everyone is looking for full-time day programming, and that's okay. Throughout the year, Stars for Life offers a variety of workshops, educational sessions, and short-term programs designed to help individuals build skills, explore interests, and connect with others in a supportive environment.
These opportunities may focus on topics such as life skills, health and wellness, recreation, employment readiness, community participation, or other areas of personal growth. Workshops are a great option for individuals who may not meet the eligibility requirements for our day program, are exploring services for the first time, or simply wish to participate in specific learning opportunities.
We encourage anyone interested in expanding their skills, meeting new people, or experiencing Stars for Life programming to explore our upcoming workshop offerings.
For some individuals, workshops also serve as a valuable introduction to Stars for Life, providing an opportunity to become familiar with our environment, staff, and programming before considering other services in the future.
However, individuals can attend our scheduled workshops.
